WE ARE LOVED BY GOD
God is love. He invites everyone into His family. We can love Him as our perfect Dad and speak with Him by praying with confidence in His love for us. God is for you so Altitude Church is for you.
WE ARE RESCUED BY JESUS
He gave it all so we won’t lose out on God’s love. He sacrificed His whole life so we would not die, even when our body does. Totally free, we can live forever when we trust Jesus.
WE ARE BEING TRANSFORMED
We prioritise transformation, we are intentional about being teachable, we are unashamed of our forgiven failures and embrace others who fall. We give all credit to God for our successes and celebrate others who succeed. We know that it's the Holy Spirit in us who transforms us into our best selves.
WE ARE ANCHORED IN GOD'S TRUTH
We live by God's Word, trusting it to be His truth and active in helping us live our best life for Him. It challenges, comforts and guides us towards Jesus.
WE CHAMPION OTHERS
We are family and are all equally loved by our Father God. We intentionally love one another and seek out ways to raise one another up. We all have something to bring to the table. No one is more important than another. We believe in the best of others and forgive the worst. We prioritise honour.
WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT GENEROSITY
We have been blessed to bless others. We choose to join in the great adventure of sharing and giving what God has given us. We are not stingy with our joy but celebrate every win as if it’s our own. We are wise with what we are given and recognise that to trust God is the beginning of all wisdom. Generosity does not begin and end with finances but encompasses everything we have been entrusted with. Every act of generosity is an act of worship to God.
WE ARE WHOLEHEARTED IN SERVING
We give God our best because He gives His best to us. We wake each day choosing to love God, love others and go the extra mile in the way we express this love. We work with excellence as we are always working for God and believe excellence begins in the heart.
WE ARE INTENTIONAL IN MULTIPLICATION
God’s mission for Jesus was to give life to the full. Jesus’ mission for us is to show up, shine out and make disciples. Multiplication and growth is a natural by-product of those who love God fully and show Jesus boldly in their lives. We pray for opportunities to share Jesus with everyone we meet and fearlessly take up these opportunities to do so, refusing to let them pass us by.
WE ARE CREATIVE IN OUR EXPRESSION
There are no limits with God. No restrictions can prevent God’s family from growing. We use our creativity, intellect, energy, love and time to be part of growing God’s Kingdom with intention and enthusiasm. We celebrate other churches’ expressions and wins. We serve a creative God, He is not narrow-minded! We stay unswervingly on the path of God’s perfect teaching while seeking new ways to celebrate Him and express His love.
WE ARE ADAPTABLE TO THE SEASON
We remain steadfast in God's unchangeable truth but choose to be innovative for each new season God brings us into. We are innovative and flexible in God’s hand. We don't look back. We keep moving forwards.
Statement of Faith
Ps Ben is an accredited Assemblies of God minister and Altitude church is working closely with AOG to become an AOG church. This means we affirm and adopt the AOG statement of faith.
